Laak, Esfandiari launch prop bet show

It's proved to be a successful and entertaining concept before: Film two poker pros squaring off in a series of progressively more outrageous prop bets with their own cash on the line. This time, however, it'll be Phil Laak and Antonio Esfandiari doing the score settling.

Set to premiere May 7 at 9 p.m. (EST) on MOJOHD.com (formerly INHD), the show is called I Bet You, and the premise is exactly that: Laak bets Esfandiari, Esfandiari bets Laak, and they're off on a cross-country tour trying to out-do each other.

The bets? Whatever suits their fancy as they wander the streets of America, from picking up women to hitching a ride with strangers.

The notorious "Unabomber" Laak and "The Magician" Esfandiari are old friends who made their way up the poker ranks together, so the bets are also sure to get personal along the way.

If the concept sounds familiar, you may have already caught the show Prop Bets, currently airing on RawVegas.tv, in which fellow poker pros Gavin Smith and Joe Sebok film themselves competing in a series of outrageous bets against each other.
