Kansas college students' poker game robbed

By Sarah Polson

Seven college students in Lawrence, Kan., were robbed Tuesday during a poker game in an apartment. Approximately $600 in cash, a poker case, and several cell phones were stolen during the crime.

The students were settling into a poker game at 7 p.m. when the robbery took place. Someone knocked on the door, and instead of another friend they were expecting, they found two armed men.

One of the victims told a local news reporter that one of the intruders put the guy who answered the door in a headlock and held a gun to his head. The other six students were told to get down on the floor and give up their wallets.

The victims think they were targeted because of the poker game which the robbers had probably heard about.

No arrests have been made yet in the case.
