John D'Agostino cashes in FTOPS V Event 9

John D'Agostino has some serious bragging rights. He made it farther in his own tournament than any of the other Full Tilt pros thus far in the FTOPS V.

FTOPS V Event 9 $300+$22 No-Limit Hold'em 6 Max Re-buys featured 1,333 entrants along with a massive $1 million dollar prize pool meaning there were plenty of re-buys. mattyv vanquished all challengers and took home $209,792 and a nifty gold avatar.

"J-Dags" made a serious run at first place but busted out 30th winning $4,527 in the process. He wasn't the only pro to go deep either. Event 9 was full of pros like 2006 WSOP Main Event runner-up Paul Wasicka who outdid D'Agostino by several places, coming in 27th, but earned the same amount of money.

Erick Lindgren just made the money coming in 114th place for $1,509. Steve Brecher came in 45th earning $2,716 while famed Internet player Imper1um busted out 66th grabbing $2,314.

The real winner was of course mattyv who beat johnnypoker69 in heads up play. Next up for the FTOPS V is Event 10 $200+$16 7 Stud with host Keith Sexton. That event kicks off today with a guaranteed $100,000 prize pool.
