Jepsen refuses to jettison
By Sean Lind
Some of the biggest names in online poker sat for a nosebleed Hold'em session this week, with multiple pots nearing half a million each.
The one player not to miss such an online session is Tom Dwan, aka durrrr. Not only did durrrr sit for the duration of this bloodbath, Dwan raked in some monster pots, at one point sitting with a stack of over $700,000.
One of the players to butt heads with Dwan more than once over the course of this session is the Full Tilt pro Peter W Jepsen. Jepsen got involved in two roughly half-million-dollar pots against durrrr, and each took one down.
Here's one of the two hands in question:

Jepsen didn't make a huge mistake in this hand, but a small one. He knew that he needed to hit the flush to win, but had no idea how large a hand durrrr had. Jepsen made a semi-bluff for all of durrrr's chips, hoping to win by bluff, or hit the flush on a call.
Unfortunately for Jepsen, the flush never completed, leaving Dwan's set of aces the best hand.
Jepsen could have gotten away from this hand cheaply, but with the chances of him hitting his flush combined with the chance of durrrr folding, I feel his move could be +EV long-term.
The pot he lost to durrrr was worth the almost identical amount, leaving him even for two of the largest pots on the day.
