Jared Hamby strikes Liebert at WPC

The prize pool in the WPT Championship at the Bellagio will be enormous, but there is lots of money to be won in the side events at the Fifth Annual Five Star World Poker Classic as well. Ask Jared Hamby, who has won two tournaments in five days for a total of $522,735.
On April 10, Hamby defeated 250 players to take home $223,780 in Event 4 - $2,500 No-Limit Texas Hold'em.
Event 7, a $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, had a bigger starting field with 483 players registered. But that wasn't enough to stop Jared Hamby.
Hamby defeated experienced pro Kathy Liebert heads-up to win his second tournament at the Bellagio and $298,955 in prize money.
