James Bond villain claims to be poker ace

By Sarah Polson

Mads Mikkelson, the latest James Bond villain appearing in the upcoming movie "Casino Royale," says he's now a poker ace after spending hours playing cards on the movie set. The cast played poker both in scenes for the movie and off the set.

Mikkelson, who plays an evil gambler named Le Chiffre, said the whole cast got into gambling while filming the movie. A lot of the film is set in a casino playing poker, so the cast got to know the game and later started visiting casinos to play for real money.

When it comes to poker, Mikkelson said he had the upper hand over the new James Bond, who is played by British actor Daniel Craig. According to his version, he was actually the best player in the cast, but admits that the other cast members might be saying the same thing.

He compares it to a "fishing tale" where everyone remembers what they want, but he said he did get pretty good a the game.

"Casino Royale" is set to hit movie theaters in November.
