Jake Cody Named Newest Team PokerStars Pro
Brit Jake Cody is the newest name to be added to the prestigious roster of Team PokerStars Pro.
Cody was introduced as the latest signing by Daniel Negreanu today at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas.
The youngest-ever poker Triple Crown winner (EPT, WPT and WSOP titles) at just 22, Cody was previously a sponsored pro for PKR but became a free agent when that deal ended last year.
Beginning his poker career with just a $10 deposit and never needing another, Cody now has over $3 million in live earnings including wins at EPT Deauville and WPT London in 2010.
Cody won his first WSOP bracelet in 2011 in the $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit event. He also has a SCOOP title to his credit.
Making his debut as a PokerStars Pro on Day 1b of the $10k PCA Main Event, Cody is understandably excited to rep the biggest brand in poker:
Very very proud and excited to announce I'm the new Pokerstars Team Pro!!!!

His results are certainly good but he doesn't seem to have much charisma as a sellable asset. Is Cody popular in the UK somehow? Does he do something else spectacular?
