Wild Card Poker II deadline extended

Calvin Ayre

Ease off on the feverish final touching. Make a few more edits to your video. Re-shoot at the Sears portrait studio. You've now got an extra month to submit your audition for Calvin Ayre's Wild Card Poker II.

The new deadline for submission of a short one-minute audition video or photo for a spot in the $2 million reality series set to be filmed this summer: Sunday, June 3.

The previous deadline was today, May 6, but Bodog has extended the call for submissions, setting the competition up to be even fiercer than it already is.

One poker player has earned a spot through a recent online tournament at Bodog.com, but the rest are still completely up for grabs and the video auditions will go a long way to deciding who the next possible Bodog.com reality star might be.

Once the final selections have been made, the participants will then be spirited off an all-expenses paid trip to British Columbia, Canada, where they will compete in 30 days of "poker infused lifestyle challenges" for a $2 million grand prize.

"Season II is already shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before," said Bodog.com founder Calvin Ayre, the show's host and creator. "One thing is for sure, with a $2 million grand prize up for grabs, the competition is going to be intense."
