With the poker world focused on the WSOP Main Event, Phil Ivey made his record-breaking ninth final table on the World Poker Tour yesterday.

The WPT Bellagio Cup VI has been running for four days now and after receiving 353 entrants it's down to a final table of six players. First place will pay out $875,150 but every player at the final table is guaranteed at least $118,950.

Ivey will enter the final table as one of the shorter stacks with 1.5 million chips but everyone is chasing John Caridad who has 5.1 million.

Ivey is not the only intriguing story at the final table as Full Tilt Pro Justin "BoostedJ" Smith is third in chips with 2.1 million chips.

Last year Smith made the final table in the same event, eventually finishing third for nearly half a million dollars.

The final table is rounded out by Moritz Kranich (2.75 million), Robert Akery (1.9 million) and Eric Afriat (620,000).

The tournament has been full of interesting storylines as former Amazing Race star Maria Ho finished in 10th place nearly missing out on her first WPT final table and poker pro Zack Hyman was the official final table bubble boy coming in seventh place.

Ivey may have his work cut out for him today as he's only won one of the eight WPT final tables he's made in the past.

The final table of the WPT Bellagio Cup VI will begin at 4 p.m. PT today and play down to a winner.
