IPT Goes Home Again

Dario Minieri knows you can go home again.

The PokerStars.it Italian Poker Tour continues to tear up the Italian Countryside.

After successful stops in San Marino and Venice the IPT now finds itself in San Remo, the spiritual home of the tour.

The €2,000+€200 San Remo main event drew a total of 194 players for the first of two Day 1 flights Thursday, 28 of whom qualified for the event on PokerStars.

Twelve of those qualifiers survived the day, as did 55 others from the starting field.

Italian Nicola D'Alessio ended the day in the lead.

Team PokerStars Pros Dario Minieri, Luca Pagano and Salvatore Bonavena are all expected to hit the San Remo felt for Day 1b.
