Poker After Dark sets table for a party

Howard Lederer will meet sister Annie Duke on the Poker After Dark felt.
By Erin Warner
The upcoming episode of Poker After Dark reeks of plot twists. For starters, with three women and three men it's a so-called battle of the sexes. But the game is also a clash of commentators as three poker pundits meet at the felt. Add in a hint of sibling rivalry and you've got yourself some good reality TV.
At 2 a.m. Monday, the hit poker series features a six-max table comprised of Howard Lederer, Gabe Kaplan, Ali Nejad, Annie Duke, Vanessa Rousso and Kristy Gazes.
The show promises ample banter between the pros, and not just because any battle of the sexes is ripe for smack talking: All three men talk poker for a living in addition to playing the game.
Howard Lederer is the host of the series Poker Superstars, Gabe Kaplan commentates on High Stakes Poker and Ali Nejad is the voice behind Poker After Dark.
Other firsts for the series include the pitting of siblings Lederer and Annie Duke against one another on the felt and a first appearance for Kristy Gazes.
Catch all the action starting Monday and running for five consecutive nights throughout the week. Can't stay up that late on a school night? Hit up the week's run down following Saturday Night Live at 1 a.m. for a behind-the scenes look at highlights, interviews, analysis and, of course, Shana Hiatt.
