Hot heads-up action at the Mirage

Event 8 of the 2007 Mirage Poker Showdown is a $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em heads-up tournament. With several top names still in contention, including Gavin Smith, Erick Lindgren and Kathy Liebert, we can look forward to an exciting conclusion of the event.

Sixteen players remain in the tournament, and they have been divided into four brackets.

Jonathan Little vs. Nenad Medic
Ryan Hughes vs. Steven Jacobs

Anthony Newman vs. Erick Lindgren

Pool D
Aaron Been vs. Kathy Liebert
Dustin Woolf vs. Steve Sung

The $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em championship event at the Mirage Poker Showdown starts May 19 and will go on until May 23.
