Hollywood Poker cranks it with Grand XI Series

By Erin Warner

Start reading your Dan Harrington now, because Hollywood Poker is expanding its event selection by offering the Grand XI Series deep-stack tournament March 31.

Cards will start turning at 2 p.m. (EST) on March 31 and wrap up April 1.

The big-ticket event features a $1,000+$40 buy-in, which gives players a $10,000 chip stack. Blinds start at $25/$25, with levels increasing every 30 minutes.

This is the 11th time Hollywood Poker has offered the Grand series, an event that follows a two-day flight structure that sees the tournament pause after six and a half hours of play on Saturday, with action resuming Sunday at 2 p.m.

Players can qualify for the Grand tournament by putting up the $1,000+$40 or advance through the four-stage qualifying structure of multi-table tournaments and sit-and-gos.

Tickets won through qualifying can be used in either format. Qualifiers to the tournament run several times daily until the end of the month.
