Star actors and celebrities will be shining their brightest at the upcoming Summer Nights fund-raising event today, which includes a No-Limit Hold'em charity poker tournament to support disadvantaged youth.

Over 150 players will take part in the tournament, which takes place at Ritual on Cahuenga Blvd., with the eventual winner receiving a seat into the Aug. 22 Aces Full three-table invitational satellite. That event features over $15,000 in cash and prizes, including a seat into the 2009 WPT Legends of Poker Main Event.

Among the celebrities expected to attend are Tia Carrere, Kelly Hu, Daisy Fuentes, Melinda Clark, Jamie Gold, Kristie Swanson, Roger Cross, Justin Hartley and many more.

Proceeds from the night will go toward Fulfillment Fund Bright Future scholarships. The Fulfillment Fund helps promising yet educationally and economically disadvantaged students achieve high school graduation and then gives them access to higher education.

If you want to rub shoulders with the stars while playing cards all in the name of charity, you too can contribute by purchasing the $450 Poker Package. Those wishing to merely get in on the party can pay $150 for the Summer Nights Gala Fee.

The tournament begins at 4 p.m. with the Gala party and festivities including food, entertainment, an auction, mystics, dancing and casino games to follow at 7 p.m.
