Hit up Bodog.com for some $200K pre-SuperBowl action

Bodog.com is taking the edge off the SuperBowl wait by kicking in an extra $100,000 to its Sunday $100K guaranteed tournament Jan. 28.

The buy-in will stay put at $109, but the winner will take home more than $45,000. The overlay, said the poker room in a press release, is Bodog.com's biggest yet.

The site is also offering three chances for players to use their poker points at a special rate to compete for the $200,000 tournament's buy-in.

The $200K Special PTS Qualifier will pay out credits to be used for buying in to any scheduled Bodog.com event.

The credits can score players access to the Jan. 28 $200K tournament, as well as the site's regularly scheduled $30,000, $50,000 and $70,000 events.

To compete in the $200K Special PTS Qualifier, customers need 400 poker points for the buy-in. Competitors will be eligible to win the $109 tournament fee, of which one will be awarded for every 10 players who enter the event.

The qualifiers, which start at 7 p.m. (EST) Jan. 25-27, are capped at a player registration of 500.
