Heads-up: Barcelona satellites at Pacific Poker
By all accounts, there's not much better than the Mediterranean coast in the spring; a little sunshine, a kind breeze, and some cheap wine tends to ease the days away. Add a free seat in the Barcelona World Heads-Up Poker Championship, courtesy of Pacific Poker, and you might very well explode from pleasantness.
Mark your calendars for April 7, April 21 and May 5 at 8:30 p.m. (GMT).
Those are the dates and times announced for three big satellites at Pacific Poker, with the winners set to score $6,000 packages for the €2,500+€100 Barcelona World Heads-Up Championship May 21-29.
With a maximum of 128 seats available for the Championship and a €320,000 prize pool, a full house is certainly expected at the Casino Barcelona, and competition will be heated over the seven rounds of one-on-one, single elimination action.
When all is said and done, the winner walks away with €125,000 and the coveted Heads-Up Champion title, with the runner-up taking a none-to-shabby €60,000 for their efforts.
Qualifying rounds are rolling at Pacific Poker as we speak, with a chance to win your seat in the bi-weekly satellite from only 50¢.
Direct buy-in for the three final qualifiers is also available for $40+$4. For all the details, visit Pacific Poker.
