The Memorial Day weekend in the U.S. saw fewer players turn out for the Sunday Bodog.com $100,000 guaranteed, causing poker room to kick in a $24,900 overlay.

The number of entrants this week tumbled to 751 people from last Sunday's 833 players.

The diminished playing field worked out just fine for head2782, though, as he maintained a consistent chip lead at the final table to lock down his first-place, $25,000 win.

head2782 used his considerable lead to seal the fate of Johnny Mojo in heads-up play, busting the player to send him home in second place with $14,300 in prize money.
