Hayden Christensen to play 'Poker Brat' in movie
By Sarah Polson
Phil Hellmuth confirmed in a magazine interview this week that Hayden Christensen has committed to play him in an upcoming movie, "The Madison Kid."
Christensen, best known for playing Anakin Skywalker as he turns to the dark side in the "Star Wars" movies, will star in the movie about Phil Hellmuth's life.
The script, tentatively titled "The Madison Kid," could be renamed "Poker Brat" and is scheduled to begin filming in April in Winnipeg, Canada.
Los Angeles production company Beacon Pictures will create the movie, which will follow his early life in Madison, Wis., to his introduction to poker in university and his success as a professional player.
