Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. has released dates and locations for this coming year's World Series of Poker Circuit, and has expanded the series to 12 tournaments, which is more than double the amount held last year.
The 2005-2006 Circuit will be played at different Harrah's venues throughout the United States, stopping in such locales as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New Orleans, Biloxi, Miss., and Lake Tahoe, Ca.
Originally created by Harrah's to generate interest and build brand recognition for this year's WSOP, the WSOP Circuit will begin its second season on August 11th at the Grand Casino Tunica.
Each Circuit event will boast multiple tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from a couple hundred dollars to $10,000 for the No-Limit Hold'em Circuit Championship event. As well, every circuit will host one final event, where the winner will qualify for the tour's grand finale, the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions (TOC).

Twenty-seven players will battle it out at the TOC, including the twelve Circuit final event champions, the nine final table players from the 2005 WSOP Main Event, and six sponsors' exemptions for a 27-player TOC shootout.Every player who makes the TOC final table will be awarded money, with first place receiving $1 million and ninth place receiving $25,000.
