Harman to host charity tournament for SPCA
By Sarah Polson
With several dogs of her own, it's no secret that Jennifer Harman is a pet lover. Further proving how much she cares for animals, Harman is hosting a charity poker tournament at Caesars Palace April 20 to benefit the Nevada SPCA.
Seats in the Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament will cost poker players a $300 donation.
There will also be an optional $200 re-buy for additional tournament chips throughout the end of the third round of the tournament as well as a $200 last chance add-on donation.
All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Nevada SPCA in Las Vegas to provide funding for the animal care group to continue to serve the area.
Registration for the event will begin at 10 a.m. the day of the tournament, with play beginning at noon.
Not all details have been finalized yet, but it's possible that a World Series of Poker Main Event seat will be given away during the tournament, and perhaps some pros, in town for the WSOP Circuit event at Caesars, will make an appearance.
