Danish superstar Gus Hansen is one of the most successful players in the history of the World Poker Tour. Now he is hunting his fourth WPT title in Barcelona.

Gus Hansen will be the chip leader when the final table of the WPT Spanish Championship gets underway on Tuesday.

He made his way to the top of the field thanks to some spectacular pots, including one where he made quads to knock out Erik Seidel in eighth place.

Seidel moved all-in holding As-4c, and Hansen called with Ts-9s. The Dane caught a nine on the flop, one more on the turn and the last one popped up on the river.

At the end of the day Hansen sits with $950,000 in his stack. Sweden's Christer Johansson is in second place with $850,000.

Final-table chip counts:

Gus Hansen $962,000
Christer Johansson $855,000
Steve Sung $670,000
Ludovic Lacay $400,000
Markus Lehmann $329,000
Vladimir Poleshchuk $176,000
