Gus goes gambling

Since the WSOP has wrapped up save its final table, online action has become a little more regular, with more players getting chips in play.

The stacks in the latest PLO nosebleed session were smaller than seen in the past, with a couple of players taking a shot at making a quick buck. The only player with a stack over $100k starting this hand is the PLO regular OnTheRize.

Gus Hansen has been a regular in nosebleed-stakes poker for the last decade, both live and online. He was allegedly the first player to lose and win over a million dollars in one session of the Big Game ($4,000/$8,000 Limit mixed game in Bobby's room).

In a dynamic sometimes referred to as a suck/resuck, Gus made the flush for the best hand on the turn, only to lose to the rivered full house. As is not always the case, the best hand when the money went in won the pot.
