The Game Show Network (GSN) is giving poker fans an early gift this year for the holidays by adding more shows to their poker schedule. Fans will get to see the UltimateBet Aruba Classic as well as the "Best of High Stakes Poker" in December.
The UltimateBet Aruba Classic will air Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. (EST) with Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke and John Vorhaus calling the action as the final table of six battle for the champion title. More than 500 players from around the world showed up in Aruba to try to win a piece of the Texas Hold'em tournament's $2.6 million prize pool.
The players who made the final table were Jason Atwood, Jared Brintz, Terry Eischens, Cliff Josephy, Devon Miller and Joe Sebok. Miller was the lucky player to walk away with the top prize of $774,960.
After watching how the final table of the Aruba Classic plays out, you can catch the "Best of High Stakes Poker" Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. (EST).
"High Stakes Poker" has become popular as the only high-stakes cash game on television. The "best of" show will give poker fans a peak at some never before seen footage from its first two seasons and will feature some of the most memorable moments.
The show will also include player interviews with poker pros talking about their play on the show as well as how their opponents played. The first two seasons of the show featured top pro poker players such as Sammy Farha, Jennifer Harman, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Laak and Johnny Chan.
