Go from zero to WSOP poker hero at ESPN
It may be a long row to hoe, but at the end of it, you can turn your ESPN Poker Club play money into a very real $12,500 package to the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Chris Borak and Mike Stegman have done it.
Now, it might be your turn. If you play your cards right in the ESPN poker room at a final tournament Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 8 p.m. (EST).
But first you'll have to get there. Here's how:
Qualify for any weekly Sunday final over the next seven weeks with 60 poker room points.
These you can earn one of four ways: Playing 1,500 hands, winning 10 single-table tournaments, winning a multi-table tournament or placing in the top 20 in the daily big play.
Sunday qualifiers then take place each week at 12, 5, and 9 p.m. (EST).
Top 25 players from each Sunday Qualifying Tournament then move on to the Final Tournament.
Win that, and you'll will receive the Final Tournament Grand Prize Package - a $12,500 number that includes airfare to Las Vegas, hotel accomodation as needed, and your entry fee to the Main Event.
And there you go. You're there, among the best of the best, angling for millions in prize money and all the poker glory you can handle.
For all the details, visit the ESPN Poker Club.
