Get your two cents in on Internet gambling

By Christopher Hunt

Researchers from the University of Leeds are looking in to the how, when and where people gamble, and are particularly interested in you if you gamble online.

So if you do gamble on the Internet - either just occasionally or on a regular basis - they would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete a questionnaire.

All surveys are entirely anonymous, they want you to know, with only members of the research team able to read any answers you provide.

And a big part of the study will also involve interviewing people about their Internet gambling, so if you'd like to be interviewed, there's a space at the end of the questionnaire to leave your contact details.

Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Responsibility in Gambling Trust (RIGT), the findings will be used to inform gambling organisations, policy makers and government departments, and any reports or publications from the surveys will be made available to read.

More information can be found at www.survey.leeds.ac.uk/gambling, and any questions about the study or being interviewed can be directed to Charlotte Kenten at c.kenten@leeds.ac.uk.
