Get lucky with $1 at Empire Poker

A dollar doesn't get you much these days, but it can get you into a No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament at Empire Poker.

The poker site offers a New Player Lucky Dollar tournament each day at 7:40 p.m. (EDT) for first-time, real-money depositors.

All it takes is making your first deposit at the site and you'll be eligible for that day's tournament, plus the New Player Lucky Dollar tournament for the next six days.

For example, players that make their first deposit on April 22 will be able to participate in all the daily Lucky Dollar Tournaments until April 28. That's seven chances to turn your lucky $1 buy-in into more cash for your bankroll.

To register for the tournament, click on the "Tournaments" tab in the Empire Poker Lobby and find the New Player Lucky Dollar tournament. Then just click on "Register."

Registration for the tournament closes five minutes before the start of the event.
