Get Locked in PokerStars’ $1 Million Shark Cage

Shark Cage

Qualifiers are once again running for PokerStars’ Shark Cage promo where one online player faces off against legendary poker players for a shot at $1 million.

Daily online qualifiers, which also include $5,000 in cash prizes, started on Monday and will run through March 14 with the top 50 finishers advancing to the casting stage to audition for the TV show.

The players who make it through casting will win a package to the EPT Grand Final in Monaco where two heats of the Shark Cage will be filmed.

Shark Cage pits one qualifier against eight famous poker pros and if anyone gets bluffed on the river they head to the cage for an orbit. Players also have only 30 seconds to act on each hand.

The last Shark Cage event, which took place at the PCA, pitted qualifiers against a murderer’s row of poker players that included Jennifer Harman, Lex Veldhuis, Phil Laak, Jennifer Tilly, Theo Jorgensen, Scotty Nguyen and Tony Dunst.

Each player that wins a Shark Cage heat qualifies for the final in London next fall where the winner will walk away with $1 million with no deals allowed.

You can win tickets to Shark Cage by depositing on PokerStars. Check here to see all the different codes you can use. Be sure to also include the PokerListings marketing code “” to get access to bonus freerolls.
