Son of a gun, Lewis Osburn had fun down on the bayou. The Covington, Ga., resident is the Seven-Card Stud champ, having taken down Event 5 of the World Series of Poker Circuit stop in New Orleans in the early morning hours.

The 61-year-old furniture store owner won the event at the third annual Bayou Poker Challenge after one of the longest days in the tournament's history. To take home first place and a WSOP gold ring, Osburn had to knock out fellow Georgian Mitch Jones in heads-up at 4:45 a.m.

For a tournament first, the event featured a Seven-Card Stud option. More than 100 stud enthusiasts came to play, forking over the $300+$30 buy-in for a collective $30,000 prize pool.
