Gambling industry executives will once again have the chance to play one of the games that's helping make the industry so successful during the Bullet Business Industry Poker Tournament. The tournament is open to executives from companies in the gambling industry, excluding former professional poker players.
This is the second year Bullet Business is hosting the tournament, which gives out prizes to the players as well as money to charity. Last year Larry Eeles of VC Poker won the event.
"Last year was a teaser year," said Michael Setters, director of Bullet Business. "Our networking events never passed without the industry guys talking about how they felt they could easily hold their own in the [World Series of Poker]. Fine we thought - let's see who really can play. We set up the IPT and, despite relatively low key marketing, the thing went ballistic."
This year there will be cash prizes, spot prizes, and money for charity again.
Entering the tournament is a simple process. Industry execs can sign up at www.bulletbusiness.com/IPT, after which they'll receive emails updating them on when and where their online qualifying tournament will be.
The execs who advance will then play at a live regional final table at a Bullet Business summit, and the winners will move on to the IPT Global final table Dec. 5 in London.
