Full Tilt Poker rewarding players with cash
Full Tilt Poker and PokerListings.com were once again handing out cash to their loyal players on Saturday.
Online poker player Phailer was the biggest winner of the day. Phailer beat all challengers to take home first place and a $735 payday in the Saturday Full Tilt/PokerListings.com freeroll.
It's been a great week for Full Tilt players because the site also recently refunded money to players who played against bots. Bots, although rare in online poker, do sometimes hit the limit tables. There were several allegations about bot activity on Full Tilt's servers and the online gaming company has decided to freeze several accounts in response and refund money to players who lost hands against the alleged bots.
The security department of Full Tilt sent out e-mails advising players on the recent bot activity and the refund they were entitled to.
Bots are notoriously hard to catch and Full Tilt has been one of the more proactive online poker rooms in their efforts to catch the non-human players. Although Full Tilt has not been able to name who the bots are, consensus on poker forums like 2+2 is that japinthesack and BeatMe1 were both bots.
