Full Tilt giving players a Piece of Ivey
What would you give to have a piece of Phil Ivey in the 2009 WSOP Main Event?
Full Tilt Poker is giving its players a chance to win up to 3% of the celebrated pro in its new Piece of Ivey promotion.
The promo has three separate components and the first step for interested players is to opt-in on Full Tilt's website.
Once a player has signed up for the Piece of Ivey promotion they instantly start earning tickets based on the amount of Full Tilt points they generate.
On Nov. 6 Full Tilt will hold a drawing for seats in two unique tournaments to take place the next day, just before Ivey takes his seat in the WSOP Main Event.
The first event is the 1% of Ivey $50k freeroll tournament. The multi-table tournament will offer a $50,000 prize pool and first place will walk away with 1% of Ivey in the Main Event.
Next up is the more exclusive 5% of Ivey nine-player Sit & Go. First place in this event will walk away with 3% of Ivey while second and third will provide 1% of the Full Tilt Pro.
If Ivey manages to win the Main Event, that seemingly modest 3% would equal $256,393. Even 1% would be worth $85,464.
Prize money will be paid directly into Full Tilt accounts two days after completion of the WSOP Main Event.
In addition, Full Tilt will be giving away over $150,000 in daily cash draws.
Full Tilt will pull 630 tickets every day with cash prizes for each ranging from $5 to $100 and the site will will up the ante Nov. 5 drawing 810 tickets.
