FTP Announces Million Dollar Cash Game lineup

Phil Ivey

By Sean Lind

The past two seasons of Full Tilt Poker's Million Dollar Cash Game have had some of the most watched and discussed televised pots of all time. This year hopes to be no exception.

Last year's big story came with cold deck hand between Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius.

Phil holding JdJs flops jacks full on a board of AsAcJc against Antonius's Ah10c three of a kind.

Ivey's jacks hold up after the river (AsAcJc5dQh), and after an Oscar worthy performance coerced Antonius into making a $250,000 call on the river.

This year plans to keep the action hot inviting an impressive list of red name Full Tilt pros, along with some other well known high stakes players, both live and online. The official lineup is as follows:

As well as:

David Benyamine and Doyle Brunson are also likely to make a star appearance. Although many of the same players will be returning from last year, the 2008 lineup has made some significant changes. Players from last year who will not be returning include: Jennifer Harmen, Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel, Roland de Wolfe and Marc Goodwin.

This year's lineup features players every bit as talented, but with some of the action-crazed online players replacing some of the very solid old school live players, the potential action is off the charts.

The filming takes place on the 17th and 18th of September in central London, with the episodes going to air in January of 2009 on Sky Sports.
