FTOPS VI update: Events 6-7
Two more Full Tilt Online Poker Series VI events were decided on Sunday. Player Braien won Event 7 and became the biggest FTOPS VI winner so far.
FTOPS VI Event 6 was a $100+$9 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo tournament hosted by poker legend "Miami" John Cernuto.
Full Tilt Poker had put up a $25,000 guarantee, but because 809 players entered the event the prize pool was significantly bigger: $80,600 was up for grabs.
Player yuvee04 won the tournament and received $17,006.60 in prize money, while runner-up KudelyKQ got $11,606.40.
The final-table results were:
Paul Wolfe hosted Event 7, $300+$22 No-Limit Hold'em, which saw the biggest starting field so far of FTOPS VI. A total of 4,475 people paid the buy-in, creating a $1,342,500 prize pool.
The tournament also saw the biggest winner so far: a player called Braien defeated crpaint heads-up to win the title and a $237,072.08 prize check.
