Four more events played out at FTOPS X

Although the majority of poker media has been focused on the November Nine this week, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series X continues to bring thousands of players out to the site looking for gold avatars to call their own.

A total of four events were played on Friday and Saturday with the biggest story being Full Tilt pros Aaron Bartley and Brian Hastings each getting close to winning an event. Although they both missed in their attempt to become the first FTP pro to win an event at FTOPS X, it seems that the pros are getting closer.

On Friday Event 4, hosted by Vitaly Lunkin, drew over 800 players to create a prize pool of $600,000. Coming in in third place overall was none other than Bartley, who, if it hadn't been for mightypirate and GampaJeff, would have won the event.

Also on Friday was Event 5, which was hosted by online whiz Matt Hawrilenko. A total of 879 players bought in for some short-handed action, but none would beat tommy2tyme who finished first for $37,533.

On Saturday, Full Tilt players had the option of two games with Event 6, hosted by Scott Fischman, bringing some Pot-Limit Omaha into the mix. Well-known online player PeachyMer made it all the way to 12th place while fellow CardRunners pro Brian Hastings got to eighth, just barely missing out on the final table. Broberts85 was the eventual winner in the event taking down a very decent $75,250.
