Four days of Christmas left at PartyPoker
By Sarah Polson
Santa may have already come and gone on Tuesday, but there are still plenty of presents being handed out to players at PartyPoker.
The poker site's 12 Days of Christmas promotions continues today through Dec. 30 with new promotions each day.
Today's special is surprise tournaments. PartyPoker will host 20 surprise tournaments during the day with a total of $5,000 added to the prize pools.
The tournaments will play at random times from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. (EST) with 5,000 seats available in the tournaments. The site will let players know when a tournament is about to start by displaying a headline message in the PartyPoker lobby 30 minutes before the action kicks off.
Friday will see the poker site host a $2,500 Solo Point Tournament as part of its 12 Days of Christmas promotions.
To qualify for the tournament, players just need to earn one standard PartyPoint at the site on Friday to get entry into a freeroll on Dec. 29. Players in the freeroll will have a shot at a $2,500 prize pool.
The Solo Point Tournament starts at 2 p.m. (EST) and will be available under the freeroll tab.
Saturday will see players treated to the Magic Hand, in which PartyPoker will be giving away about 25 prizes of $100. Every 100,000th hand dealt from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Saturday will see the players in the hand sharing $100.
The player who wins the hand will receive $50, and the other players involved in the hand will split the remaining $50. Players must have been dealt cards to participate.
PartyPoker will display the Magic Hand numbers throughout the day in the headlines and in the dealer chat.
The final day of the promotions plays out on Sunday with a $15,000 End-of-Year Freeroll. The freeroll is open to anyone on a first come, first served basis. Players will need to keep checking back to make sure they don't miss out. The freeroll will be available at 2 p.m. (EST).
Head to PartyPoker now to join in the holiday fun.
