The one day event is being sponsored by the World Tavern Poker Tour and will run at the Little River Gold Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

"You will also have a chance to watch me play live on PokerStars.com as I take on the TLB winner for the preceding week during the lunch break."
Raymer is scheduled to lead a one-hour seminar detailing his poker playing strategy. Topics covered will include position play; understanding pot odds; playing heads-up; common amateur mistakes; reading tells; when and when not to bluff; strategies for playing online; and differences between a pro player and an amateur.

Following the seminar, a 200-person freeroll will be held where final table competitors play against Raymer. The top 3 finishers will win special trophies featuring a real fossil as part of the design.
The poker champ will be available to sign autographs and discuss strategy with players. All Fossilman Challenge participants will enjoy a gourmet lunch, receive a Fossilman Challenge shirt and poker chip, and are eligible for great prizes throughout the day.
