Flack charged with DUI
Layne Flack had to skip the 2009 NBC National Heads-Up Championship Friday because he spent the night in a Las Vegas jail.
Flack, who spent the early part of the evening at the draw party for the event, was reportedly arrested and charged with DUI after leaving a popular Las Vegas strip club in the wee hours of the morning Friday.
Clark County officials confirmed Flack was in jail, but would not release information regarding the charges, saying only that he was scheduled for release after seeing a judge Friday.
However, the City of Las Vegas Web site states that Flack was charged with DUI Liquor, speeding and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Literature from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles states typical penalties for a first time DUI conviction include up to six months in jail, up to a $1,000 fine and DUI school or substance abuse treatment.
