First Wave of US Full Tilt Payments Going Out Feb. 28

American Full Tilt Poker players can finally expect to begin receiving their long-frozen account balances on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, according to a message by the Garden City Group.

The Full Tilt Poker Claims website was updated this morning with a notice that the first wave of payments will be sent out on Feb. 28.

The first wave is for all petitioners who were approved for payment in the first round of distributions. Players can expect an email notice Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday this week with the amount of their payment.

GCG has also identified a group of petitioners who were approved for payment but submitted bank account information that was incorrect.

Payment Coming Nearly 3 Years After Black Friday

That group of players will be contacted GCG, and if they provide correct bank information, they will receive payment in the second wave of distributions. Otherwise they will receive a check in the mail.

Full Tilt Poker players have been waiting nearly three years to receive their account balances after online poker’s Black Friday on April 15, 2011.
