Final week for CD Poker's Medals Race

The finish line is in sight for players participating in the Medals Race at CD Poker. The last day to earn medals and qualify for prizes is Friday, Nov. 30.

The race began on Oct. 12, allowing poker players to earn medals for every $1 they raked in while playing on the site. The promotion was open to members of the Shark, Pro and Legends clubs on the site.

For every $1 raked, players would receive three medals, and the top 200 medal earners over the past month and a half will receive prizes.

CD Poker is putting more than $20,000 in prizes up for grabs during the promo, including cash and buy-ins for the European Championship of Online Poker. Top prize will be $3,000 in cash, plus a token worth $1,060 for Event 10 of the ECOOP.

2easy seems to have a pretty good grip on that first-place spot with one week left to go, but the race is still relatively tight for other spots in the prize pool.

All of the top 200, with the exception of the first-place winner, will get entry into a freeroll for a seat in the main event of the ECOOP. They'll have yet another shot at winning a seat for the $1 million event, with five seats being handed out in the freeroll.

The first event of the ECOOP begins on Friday with the $200+$15 No-Limit Hold'em tournament with a $150,000 prize pool guarantee. The main event will wrap up 10 days of tournaments on Dec. 9 with the $1,000+$60 No-Limit Hold'em tournament.
