Final four FTOPS VIII events find winners

Another round of Full Tilt Poker's Online Poker Series wrapped up over the weekend with the final four events playing out.
Event 21
First up was Event 21, a two-day No-Limit Hold'em event hosted by Phil Ivey. It turns out 899 players at Full Tilt Poker were willing to put up the $2,500+$120 buy-in to try their luck in Ivey's event.
That boosted the $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool up over $2.2 million. The person who benefited most from that boost was Halfrek, who took down the tournament and a $516,925 top prize.
A few pros made waves in the tournament as well, although they missed out on the final table. Erich Kollman came in 12th. Behind him was PearlJammed in 22nd place, Bruce Buffer in 30th and Thomas Bihl in 63rd.

Event 22
Also shuffling up on Saturday was Event 22, the $100+$9 Pot Limit Omaha tournament with rebuys. Hosted by Sigi Stockinger, the event drew 939 players to boost the guaranteed prize pool from $350,000 to $370,200.
Nenad Medic got a piece of that for finishing in 20th place, along with Berry Johnston cashing in 30th place, Ross Boatman in 44th and MrSmokey1 in 58th. The winner, however, was theASHMAN103, taking home an $85,146 prize.

Event 23
More than 3,000 Full Tilt Poker players headed back to the virtual felt on Sunday to try their hands at Roland De Wolfe's $240+$16 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max Knockout event. With a $500,000 prize pool on the line, it was elheroe who took down the event to earn $124,020.22.
Pros were pretty scarce in this tournament when it got down to the money. The only pro to cash in the event was David Pham in 235th place.

Main Event
Last, but certainly not least with its $2 million guaranteed prize pool, was the Full Tilt Online Poker Series Main Event hosted by Jennifer Harman. The $500+$35 buy-in event drew 4,750 players looking to score big in this eighth installment of the series.
A few pros made a good run for the big money, with Huck Seed cashing in 282nd place followed by Stuart Paterson, Andy Block, Marco Liesy and Robert Mizrachi further down the cash ranks. It was cheesemonster who ended up taking the biggest piece of the prize pool, which had been boosted up to $2,375,000.
