Final countdown to FTOPS III begins

In less than 48 hours, poker players will be flocking to Full Tilt Poker for the first event of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS). Kicking off the third time the site has run the series will be a No-Limit Hold'em tournament hosted by Erik Seidel.

That event will have a $200+$16 buy-in and begin Friday at 9 p.m. (EST). It will be the first of 10 events to come in the following days, all of which will be hosted by a different Full Tilt Poker pro.

At least $1.5 million will be up for grabs through the series, with each event having a guaranteed prize pool between $50,000 up to $1.5 million for the main event.

The schedule of events is as follows:

Feb. 9 at 9 p.m.: $200+$16 NL Hold'em, $200k guaranteed, Erik Seidel hosting
Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.: $200+$16 H.O.R.S.E., $100k guaranteed, Andy Bloch hosting
Feb. 11 at 6 p.m.: $300+$22 NL Hold'em, $750k guaranteed, Erick Lindgren hosting
Feb. 12 at 9 p.m.: $100+$9 PL Omaha Hi w/ re-buys, $50k guaranteed, Lee Watkinson hosting
Feb. 13 at 9 p.m.: $200+$16 NL Hold'em, $350k guaranteed, John Juanda hosting
Feb. 14 at 9 p.m.: $200+$16 Omaha Hi-Lo, $75k guaranteed, Mike Matusow hosting
Feb. 15 at 9 p.m.: $200+$16 NL Hold'em w/ re-buys, $100k guaranteed, Allen Cunningham hosting
Feb. 16 at 9 p.m.: $200+$16 PL Hold'em, $125k guaranteed, Rafe Furst hosting
Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.: $300+$22 H.A., $150k guaranteed, Jennifer Harman hosting
Feb. 18 at 6 p.m.: $500+$35 NL Hold'em, $1.5 million guaranteed, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson hosting
