Fighters take on poker players
Are you ready to rumble? Bodog is giving poker enthusiasts the opportunity to challenge their favorite fighters in a game of poker.
The Bodog Fight Challenge Poker Tournament Series will run for six months and be open to anybody with a Bodog account. The series will be comprised of six qualifying events in which players will earn an amount of points based on where they placed. These points will be used to rank players over the months of qualifying. After the qualifiers are finished the top 30% will gain entry into the final tournament.
Bodog's entire roster of fighters will be taking part so if you've ever seen what these guys can do in the ring but wanted to see what they could do on the felt now is your chance.
The series is a unique collaboration between Bodog Fight and Bodog Poker, which are both run by Bodog entertainment.
The first qualifier will take place today with the rest on Sept. 6, 2007, Oct. 11, 2007, Nov. 8, 2007, Dec. 13, 2007 and Jan. 17, 2008. The final tournament will take place on Jan. 31, 2008.
The best thing about the series? No bruised knuckles.
As with any good poker tournament there will be prizes on the line.
