Everest Poker signs Cristiano Blanco

By: Sarah Polson

Everest Poker has signed Italian poker pro Cristiano Blanco, committing to sponsoring him at tournaments and giving players at the poker site a chance to learn from the pro.

Cristiano Blanco finished second place at the European Poker Tour event in Dortmund, Germany in March, and also placed fourth in the Torneo Di Poker main event in April.

"Cristiano's star is rising and Everest Poker's very happy to offer him the chance to shine," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "He's a player who's just starting to see his skill really paying off at the poker table."

With his Everest Poker sponsorship, Blanco will be participating in several poker events all across Europe. Two major events he'll be participating in include the Italian Championship and a World Series of Poker event.

Other players at Everest Poker will also benefit from the deal as they'll get the chance to play against Blanco.

Blanco will also have a regular blog at Everest Poker where people can keep up with his travels and tournament outcomes and get poker tips and tricks.
