Everest Poker sends players high rollin' in Monte Carlo
By Erin Warner
Are your pockets deep enough to re-raise the big boys in Monaco? Find out by playing in Everest Poker's upcoming tournament series for a seat at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final in Monte Carlo.
The tour's concluding event is to take place at the glamorous and world-renowned Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort March 28 to April 1.
Starting today, the poker room is hosting daily satellites for seats in three direct-entry events. The direct-entry tournaments are to take place Feb. 3 and 17, as well as March 3, for a $200+$15 buy-in.
"This is the biggest event on the European Poker Tour and that means the competition is going to be fierce, especially when combined with the location," said Everest Poker property manager Jonathan May.
As part of the promotion, seat winners will receive a $7,500 package that Everest says will allow the winner to enter the tournament and travel in style.
Last year's Grand Final winner, Jeff Williams, earned $1.1 million for his tournament play in the €10,000 buy-in event.
