Everest Poker player wins $12k at Torneo Di Poker

By Erik Sylven

Everest Poker sent 13 players to the Torneo Di Poker in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. One of them, Cristiano Blanco, finished fourth in the €1,500 tournament and walked away with $12,000 in prize money.

Cristiano Blanco won his seat to the Torneo Di Poker in a qualifying tournament at Everest Poker.

The poker site's property manager, Jonathan May, is very excited about Bianco's achievement at the Perla Casino & Hotel.

"Cristiano's success has been a real inspiration for us all," said Jonathan May.

"He's shown that any Everest Poker player can take it to the next level thanks to satellite tournaments featuring low buy-ins. You don't need a huge bankroll to be an Everest Poker success story."

Currently Everest Poker is hosting satellites to the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP). Daily qualifiers with buy-ins starting at $5 are available.
