Everest Poker offers weekly satellites for EPT seats
By Erin Warner
Which sounds best: Denmark, France or Monaco? That may be a question you have to answer if you win the seat of your choice in an upcoming European Poker Tour event through Everest Poker.
The online poker room is hosting a series of direct entry satellite Texas Hold'em tournaments each Wednesday until Dec. 13. The weekly events offer Everest Poker players the chance to win a $7,500 prize package that includes an EPT seat and money for travel.
Entries for the EPT Winner's Choice tournament can be as low as $3 or as high as $100 if players choose a direct buy-in. Players can also use Everest Poker's Summit Points and Tournament Tokens to enter the events.
The remaining tournaments for the EPT Season 3 schedule include the Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, Denmark Jan. 17-20; the French Open in Deauville, France Feb. 21-24; and the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, Monaco March 28 to April 1.
Everest Poker is also running direct entry satellites to specific tournaments in the coming months. To compete to win a seat at the Scandinavian Open, the poker room is running a $320 buy-in satellite Dec. 16. If you're interested in the French Open, the buy-in is $320 and the tournament runs Jan. 20, 2007.
To win a seat at the EPT Grand Final, Everest Poker is offering three satellites on Feb. 3, Feb. 17 and March 3. Each has a buy-in of $215.
