Everest Poker offers another chance to Avalanche
By Erik Sylven
Everest Poker is hosting a Round 3 satellite to the massive Avalanche tournament on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. (GMT). The Avalanche final will be played live and have a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
Seats to the Everest Poker Avalanche online final on Sept. 17 are at stake in Saturday's Round 3 satellite, which has a buy-in of $530+30.
An option for players with smaller bankrolls is to play in Round 1 or Round 2 satellites. Round 1 satellites run daily and cost $3+30¢ or $11+$1. Round 2 satellites have a buy-in of $56+$5.
People with a lot of money to spend can buy-in directly to the online final for $5,000+$300.
The grand finale of the Everest Poker Avalanche will be played live at a secret location, with the 10 winners from the online final squaring off for the $1 million.
"This is our biggest event yet, and I'm tremendously excited to roll it out and see what happens," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager, when the Avalanche tournament was announced in December.
