Everest Poker finds 10 Avalanche finalists

The Everest Poker Avalanche has finally finished its online rumblings, playing down to the final 10 players who will move on to a live final table.

The Avalanche began months ago, offering monthly satellites to get into the online final, which played Sept. 15. For as little as $3+30¢, players could win their way into the final and a shot at a $1 million prize pool.

It was common knowledge that the online final would stop when it got down to the final table, and those finalists would then play out the remainder of the tournament live. However, the location of the final table was kept under wraps until July.

Then Everest Poker revealed that not only would the players be playing for the cash and a top prize of $200,000, the top 10 players would be whisked away to the Mediterranean to finish out the tournament aboard a cruise.

Those finalists are:

• flpro - Germany
• drooppy - France
• cowboy99 - Netherlands
• fsn1 - Germany
• neziard - Canada
• C@Ernesto@G - Belgium
• Marcus105 - France
• IntuitionNEW - Norway
• difab - France
• MrGERIN - France

They and their guests will be flown to Athens, Greece, where they will board a cruise to Turkey.

The cruise will also have stops on islands such as Rhodes and Mykonos on the way.

The final table will be played on board.
