Everest Poker Avalanche satellite Saturday
By Sarah Polson
The rumble of an avalanche of cash is headed your direction with this month's Round 3 Avalanche satellite at Everest Poker. The satellite takes place today at 3 p.m. (GMT).
If you haven't already won your way into Round 3, the satellite will cost you $530+$30, and will get players into the Avalanche final, which will otherwise cost players $5,000+ $300 to enter.
The Avalanche final will take place Sept. 17, where players will compete online until 10 players remain.
"Sept. 17 is when the real fun begins," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "The 10 winners from the online finale are going to win a trip to play at a live final table at a secret location."
At the live table, the top 10 players will compete for a share of $1 million.
If you missed out on this Round 3 opportunity or don't want to take that big of a chunk out of your bankroll, then take a shot at the Round 1 and 2 satellites leading up to next month's Round 3 opportunity.
Buy-ins in for Round 1 satellites are $3+30¢ or $11+$1. Round 2 satellites will cost players $56+$5. All of them run daily.
