Everest Poker announces big weekend of poker
By Sarah Polson
There may not be NFL action this weekend, but there will certainly be some big plays online as Everest Poker announces three major poker tournaments on their site. Saturday and Sunday will bring a $100,000 guaranteed tournament, a Round 3 Everest Poker Avalanche event and a $30,000 weekly guaranteed tournament.
"This is certainly a great weekend for our players," said Johnathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "This is one of the busiest two-day periods I've seen at our poker room, especially with the buzz that the Everest Poker Avalanche has been generating."
The $100,000 guaranteed Texas Hold'em poker tournament will kick off the big weekend Saturday at 2 p.m. (GMT). It has a $100+$9 buy-in or 25,000+2,250 Summit Points.
Next up will be the Everest Poker Avalanche event which has a $530+$30 buy-in if players haven't already won their way in through satellite tournaments. It will begin at 3 p.m. (GMT) on Saturday.
Rounding off the big poker weekend, the $30,000 weekly guaranteed event will take place Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (GMT). It has a $100+$9 buy-in, or players can use 25,000+2,250 Summit Points, or an Everest Gold Token plus $9 fee instead.
"We're tremendously excited about this weekend, for obvious reasons," May said. "Some of our best poker players are going to be hitting the tables and the play is going to be fantastic."
